Neurobiologist employed by Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) and working at the :
- Resources and Research Memory Center (CMRR), Charpennes Geriatric Hospital, Villeurbanne
- Neurochemistry Lab, East Center of Biology and Pathology (CBPE), attached to the BIORAN team of Lyon Neuroscience Research Center (CRNL)
Research objectives in the field of neurodegenerative proteinopathies :
- Research and developments of specific biomarkers (i.e. alpha-synuclein RT-QuIC, "real-time quaking induced conversion" assay, as a future diagnostic biomarker of synucleinopathies including Parkinson's Disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies and Multiple System Atrophy, More infos)
- Translational clinical research on the risk factors (biological aspects) linked to the loss of functional autonomy in Alzheimer's disease and related disorders (MEMORA/MEMAURA cohort, More infos)
