Serotonin and dopamine are neurotransmitters associated with multiple psychiatric disorders. However, how they interact during development to affect subsequent behavior remains unknown. Work in my laboratory focuses on how changes in serotonin levels during early-life, induced by exposure to antidepressants, alter dopaminergic function and behavior later in life.
