His project aims to better characterize post-stroke proprioceptive deficits and their functional impact using a multimodal approach that combines clinical assessment, instrumental movement analysis, and an investigation of the underlying neurophysiological mechanisms. The work also seeks to evaluate the potential of rTMS as a tool for neuromodulation and rehabilitation in addressing these deficits.

By modulating the activity of brain networks involved in sensory integration and sensorimotor control, rTMS could offer an innovative strategy to promote proprioceptive recovery and improve functional capabilities in post-stroke patients.

Benjamin is also a neurosurgeon specializing in cranial and spinal surgery at the Saint-Étienne University Hospital.
