The study of how the brain processes and predicts information through its rhythm is a highly active field of research. 

One of the prominent figures in this field is Ole Jensen, who has developed a new framework that he will discuss in his presentation.

This framework is based on a pipelining mechanism where specific brain regions engage in serial processing, while different brain regions engage in parallel processing. The mechanism is coordinated by low-frequency oscillations that synchronize saccades, visual recognition, and previewing in the cortical hierarchy. Ole will explain how this framework applies to visual exploration and reading, and will provide examples to illustrate its effectiveness.

Prof.  Ole Jensen is a word leading expert on applying magnetoencephalograpghy to study the human brain. In particular his work has focused on uncovering the mechanism role of neuronal oscillations for cognition.
