Intact predictive processing in autistic adults: evidence from statistical learning

MEMO team

Dezső Németh (Memo team), his PhD student Orsolya Pesthy, and Laurie-Anne Sapey-Triomphe (CRNL) published an article in Scientific Reports on intact predictive processing and statistical learning (with second-order non-adjacent dependencies) in autism. This study proposes that representational learning remains intact in individuals with autism. Their findings complement well the slow-updating theory of autism.
